How Meghan Markle Became An Advocate For Women At 11 Years Old

She is the woman of the hour and her wedding day to Prince Harry was seen worldwide by millions of people.

I actually had a shoot on that day down by Eastbourne and the Seven Sisters cliffs and nearly no one was out enjoying the sun.

Truth be told, I understand why.

Even if you are not a fan of the Royals, history happened on May 19th.
It was the first time EVER, that someone other than being white married into the Royal Family, and I was proud of living in the UK at such times where we see progress with race equality and acceptance of interracial marriage.

In between clicks and giggles while I was out doing that engagement session, we couldn't help but to talk about it, and me and my bride had to jump on Instagram to take a cheeky peek at Meghan's dress and Harry's face of happiness.

As a wedding photographer, this wedding hit all the boxes.
As a woman, I can't help but to be proud that Meghan not only married the man that she loves, but that she still stands for what she believes in, that she is a feminist and an advocate for women.

I know it takes time to see real change in the world, but it excites me that she has such a platform now where she can set an example and be the force of nature that she is.

I shall stop writing now, and leave you with the video bellow.
I hope it inspires you to never stop believing in the power you have.

'It is said that girls with dreams become women with vision.' - Meghan Markle, Dutchess of Sussex.
